In September, Sicher im Kiez! was awarded the Berlin Sports Integration Prize. Five Integration Prizes are awarded annually by the Landessportbund Berlin and recognize the work of athletic clubs whose exemplary, innovative, and sustainable projects contribute to social integration in Berlin. The Boxgirls team received its award and 1000 Euro prize money out of the hands of professional boxer and multiple middleweight world champion Arthur Abraham.
